Congratulations to our most recent SEEDS FOR SUCCESS Entrepreneurship Development Assistance Initiative Emerging Entrepreneur: Ms. Ashlyn Deloach! She is a James B. Dudley High School Class of 2025 Graduate who will be entering NC A&T State University in a few short weeks!

“Sweet Treats By Ashh” is her premier baked goods business. Her delicious, delectable cakes and cupcakes (including her hallmark “Honeybun” cake, which was inspired by her grandmother) keep her clients coming back for more and bringing new clients with them! Graduations, Birthdays, Family Celebrations…Ashlyn does it all!
Joining us for Ashlyn’s celebration on Thursday, July 24, 2025, were Ms. Deloach’s mother, three of her friends, who are also new Aggies: Ziare Speller - Majoring in Mechanical Engineering; Hung Adrong - Majoring in Computer Engineering; and, Jada Gilliam - Majoring in Journalism with a concentration in Multimedia Communications; and the mother of one of her friends.
We were also honored to have the Founder/Owner/CEO of the Business Consulting Firm ~ “Salina At Your Service” ~ Mrs. Salina Barksdale-Clark. Additionally, she is the President of Chase's Chance,Inc., a phenomenal 501c3 nonprofit organization, founded by her daughter ~ Ms. Chase A. Clark. Chase’s Chance, Inc. serves youth and young adults, in a multitude of ways, across NC, the USA, in the continent of Africa, and everywhere else in between! OPERATION: SEED, INC. is fortunate to offer our emerging entrepreneurs the opportunity to engage with Salina At Your Service for professional business consulting sessions as part of our programming!
OPERATION: SEED, INC. is grateful for the continued, generous support of our corporate and individual supporters at every level! We thank the staff at the Kathleen Clay Edwards Branch Library for allowing us to hold our celebration for Ashlyn in their spacious, welcoming, well-appointed Community Room! Atmosphere and Environment matters!
As Ms. Deloach furthers the scaling of her business, she will continue her engagement with OPERATION: SEED, INC. through mentoring appointments, vendor events, online marketing creation, business consultations with Salina At Your Service, access to additional professional development opportunities, a business attire shopping session sponsored by the Ross Stores, Inc. Store-Based Giving Program, and other entrepreneurship support services that are specific to her business model.
OPERATION: SEED, INC. does not take it lightly when young people entrust us with their visions and goals by allowing us to provide encouragement, education, financial investments, and mentorship engagements to assist them as they navigate their journey and bring their entrepreneurship dreams to fulfillment!
